Educational Objectives and Program Outcomes

The educational objectives of our department are as follows:

  1.  To educate electrical and electronic engineers who can take on roles and responsibilities in leading national and international organizations in the field, with the ability to work as managers in related disciplines.
  2.  To enable students to participate in research and development activities of institutions and organizations, and/or to engage in academic work at universities or research centers.
  3. To foster entrepreneurship activities related to their profession.
    To cultivate electrical and electronic engineers who have embraced professional ethics.

The program outcomes of our department are as follows:

  1. Sufficient knowledge in mathematics, science, and specific topics of electrical and electronic engineering, and the ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge in solving complex electrical and electronic engineering problems.
  2. Ability to define, formulate, and solve complex electrical and electronic engineering problems by selecting and applying appropriate analysis and modeling methods.
  3. Ability to design a complex system, process, device, or product that meets specific requirements under realistic constraints and conditions, by applying modern electrical and electronic engineering design methods.
  4. Ability to select and use modern techniques and tools required for the analysis and solution of complex electrical and electronic engineering problems or discipline-specific research topics; proficiency in using information technologies effectively.
  5. Ability to design experiments, conduct experiments, collect data, analyze and interpret results for the investigation of complex electrical and electronic engineering problems or discipline-specific research topics.
  6. Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams, as well as individually.
  7. Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in at least one foreign language, ability to write effective reports, understand written reports, prepare design and production reports, deliver effective presentations, provide clear and understandable instructions, and receive instructions.
  8. Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning, ability to access information, follow developments in science and technology, and continuously renew oneself.
  9. Adherence to ethical principles, understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities, and knowledge of standards used in electrical and electronic engineering applications.
  10. Knowledge of project management, risk management, change management, and other practices in the professional field; awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation; knowledge of sustainable development.
  11. Knowledge of the universal and societal dimensions of the impact of electrical and electronic engineering applications on health, environment, and safety, as well as the problems reflected in the field of electrical and electronic engineering in the contemporary era; awareness of the legal consequences of electrical and electronic engineering solutions.
